Ta and I decided to change over the former bedroom next to ours into our office, so that there would be room in the bedroom for us again! Not too difficult -- fix up and paint the walls, new linoleum, locks on the doors... However, when Ari and Yoel removed the linoleum today, and the rotten, termite-eaten floorboards, we discovered that our house has NO foundation! Does that remind anyone of the roof with no nails? Kinda par for the course? That means that whenever Don or Eli slept on a thin mattress on the floor, they were sleeping a mere few inches over bare earth! So we're puttin in a concrete floor now, and then linoleum. Oh yeah -- I remember -- renovations ;-) Here are the pics so far.

Did you? Sorry -- I only remember Don and Eli sleeping UNDER the highriser almost every Shabbos.
