Hi! Sunday I started South Beach seriously again, and I've lost 4 pounds so far. I found a good online weight tracker -- http://www.medhelp.org/ and by putting my fat picture there to remind me, and posting my weight, etc. routinely, I hope to achieve my goal of 115 pounds by the Yomim Noraim.
Faigie started a really beautiful site for us -- Kosher Recipes & Menus for South Beach Diet -- http://sbdrecipes.webs.com/ -- where we can post our recipes, etc. She also posted the entire diet there. I am trying to post my recipes on a regular basis. I know Mendy had interesting things he was making on SB, and I imagine Faigie and Bashie do too!
Please join me, and post recipes, so we can all benefit!

first of all, IYH we'll be seeing each other by the next simcha - which comes b4 the YTim. By Raffi's bar mitzvah.
second, I gave up on the SBD.
Yoel lost inches, but not pounds, but I lost lbs (on scale) but my stomach blew up! Everyone thought I was pregnant.
My new idea (which I have yet to seriously start!) is to be sure to drink 6 c. water every day and have atleast 2 veges & 2 fruits every day.
I figured, if I do that, I'll eat less garbage.
I also got an exercise video reccomended on imamot... which I was doing b4 I went to UK, and I need to get back to it. I was walking a mile every day. Yudi LOVES that video!
sorry - I'd rather not join the "skinny" family & have no recipes to post! I'd love to be skinny but I also love to nosh - which do I love more? Hmmmmm.....

Faigie -- don't "figure" u'll eat less garbage -- don't buy it and don't eat it and u'll lose wt.
As for intending to start dieting, exercise and walking, if you make a weight tracker u'll want to do it sooner and c results.
