Hey guys -- a good year to all!
The 1st night of yomtov Rabbi Pinchos Feldman gave a nice speech, but 1 part was especially nice.
1) This year we bentch "Birkas Hachama," which is done once in 28 years. Each time it's a different day. Ever since the creation of the World only 2 times did we say "Birkas Hachama" on Erev Pesach. 1. By Yetzias Mitzrayim and 2. The year of the miracle of Purim by Mordechai and Esther. Two big years, full of miracles and salvation. This year will be the 3rd time in the history of the world that we will say "Birkas Hachama" on Erev Pesach, which which means I"YH it will be a year of BIG miracles and salvation. Hopefully with the revelation of Moshiach even before Pesach. (That's the big one.)
2) It says in the Gemara that Ben Dovid will come after the 7th year (shmita) which just ended.
3) It says something like Moshiach will come when the economics will fall.
Let's hold onto these signs to strengthen our emuna to survive the last and darkest moments of Golus and get ready for the greeting of Moshiach even before the fast tomorrow morning!

I thought we told you all this last year, when we heard it.
We actually heard that someone disproved this -- that Yetziyas Mitzraim was a different year -- but we believe the Geulah is close, because the Rebbe said so!
