Rant: The Suit Conspiracy

I needed to buy a suit for a dinner I have to go to sunday night ( the president of kroger cincinnati division is being honored by chabad of blue ash), so I went shopping this evening and remembered why I hate shopping for suits. First you gotta find the right jacket, which for me is 44short, then you run into the problem that the pants that come with it never fit, its a conspiracy, who in their right mind thinks that if someone is stocky for the jacket that they would have a narrow waist? I mean common sense, to give you a comical idea picture my upper body with sholom ber's body waist down. Exactly, dosent work, would probably forever be falling over. But theres a reason behind the conspiracy, now you need to spend 50 bucks on their tailor getting the waist taken out, the jacket sleeves shortened and the cuffs mended, (which by the way have you ever bought a pair of pants that the cufffs didint need to get mended?) or you can buy a matching suit in a larger size and then you just need to spend money on getting the cuffs and sleeves shortened. I will say though, it wasnt a complet horrible experience being the customer service was great, a salesman helped me from the moment I entered the store till I handed the suit to the tailor an hour later.  Kudos K & G!
